25% discount on Special Fair Trade Accessories

We are offering a discount of 25% on some of our fair trade and eco accessories over short period of time. The offer ends on 31st January 2008 - please feel free and browse our Special Fair Trade Catalogue section.

On top of this fantastic offer I am also giving you a free pair of exclusive Kente bangles PLUS a free sample from our vegan organic skin or hair care range if you order anything from the above catalogue.

10% of all sales from this campaign go to three of my favourite charities. I have chosen these because they don't waste money on Aid projects but give useful tools to the people who need them in order to help them establish a small business. Or - as in the case of PAWS - they accommodate old circus animals that would otherwise be destroyed. Or they look after orphaned wild cats with the aim to reintroduce them into the wild.

Go on, have a look and see if there isn't anything for yourself or someone close to you. Remember - every little helps!

That's great about the charity donation, we do the same thing, currently for a Elephant Refuge in Thailand.

Can I ask how you source your products? We are a much smaller ecommerce site with about 50 products from 1 artisan group in Thailand. We visit several times a year to source products from them and assure fair working conditions, etc.

If you go to our website you will see that many of our products also come directly from co-ops, especially thos from Africa. These come recommended by my family members who live in South Africa and visit the areas frequently, checking in on various suppliers. Other products come from Fairtrade Federation members and BAFTS or IFAT registered suppliers. The latter is particularly active, working with small producers and giving them the "stamp of approval". I personally have decided to cut down on my carbon footprint by not travelling excessively around the globe as I can't see the point of polluting the environment just to "check up" on somebody.... Trust is a vital part of my business and I know I can trust individual artisans and our small groups of suppliers.
